•    I didn’t realise that alcohol has a detrimental effect of our body’s supply os nutrients. Although neither my husband nor I drink that much, we decided to give up our social glass of wine in the quest of having a family. I was unaware that alcohol has been linked to miscarriage as well as a reduction in the motility of sperm.
o    Quit smoking
•    Although neither one of us has ever smoked, there are enough people that do smoke that we felt it was important to include this in our list. Let’s face it, if you’re trying to conceive stopping smoking makes sense for conception reasons but also for your own health as well. You want to live long enough to enjoy these children you’re about to have! If you quit now, you mightt as well quit for good. Your body will thank you!
