Infertility Solutions
Since you were formally diagnosed as infertile, you’ve been wondering what your next move could be. When you hear the doctor say the big ‘I’ word it’s so easy to feel immobilized, hopeless and vulnerable, but there are many infertility solutions that might be just what you need to get pregnant. Who knows? It might be the simplest thing! The best place to start is to get yourself and your partner tested so you know what’s causing the infertility, then depending on the test results you can prepare for your next step. Perhaps it could help to do some reading up on the causes of infertility. For example, when you understand that smoking can bring about infertility, then a possible solution could be to stop smoking. That said, at times the solution may not be quite the solution you were looking for, so make sure that you are open to all the possibilities, within reason of course. Why go through all the expense of travelling to the heart of darkest Africa to sample the juice of a rare root if boxer shorts could be all you need?
People generally see pills as the answer to any problem – you swallow a tablet for a headache, when all you probably need is a glass of water. When you battle to fall asleep you don’t generally consider playing relaxing music and doing a few relaxation exercises – you pop a pill. Perhaps you’re the same regarding infertility. You want the best treatment that they can give you and you must have it now, even though one or two lifestyle changes may be all that’s needed to jumpstart your fertility. To be fair, with all the exposure that it receives you may belive that IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) is your only option, and your toes curl just considering it.
Treating your infertility might be as simple as eating properly, or getting adequate fiber, or making other lifestyle changes. Look into how you can adjust your sexual practices to boost your fertility – until now you could just have had poor timing!
Lifestyle adjustments might do the job, but there are additional infertility solutions available if they don’t. You may like to try some natural fertility treatments before you go for medication or drugs. The jury is still out on precisely how valuable they are at boosting fertility, but things like acupuncture, aromatherapy, reflexology and others could also help.
Surgery may be needed to rectify any structural difficulties. Failing that you have access to some pretty advanced technology. You’ve got IVF and IUI, and ZIFT and GIFT too. You might even require some ICSI or FASIAR! Now I don’t expect you to know exactly what those are, just realize that they are options!
With some research and a little effort you may come across many infertility solutions. You are not alone; there are millions of couples battling with infertility and researchers are constantly trying to develop new ways to help – and that leads to infertility solutions for you!
