Using the Chinese Lunar Calendar for Baby Gender Selection

The Chinese Lunar Calendar For Baby Gender Selection

The Gender Predictor Calendar is said to have been around for over 700 years now. Developed after many years of research long ago by Chinese Scientists, the Chinese Lunar Calendar is considered very accurate and is widely used in that part of the world. While many westerners are skeptical, just relax and have some fun with it.

Will you conceive a baby boy, or will you have a baby girl? The Chinese Lunar Calendar can tell us! To use the Chinese Lunar Calendar to predict the gender of you’re baby, you’ll need to know how it differs from the Gregorian Calendar used here in the west.

Determine the month you conceived, now remember you want the month of conception and not the month of the birth itself!

You use the mothers age at conception using the Chinese Lunar Calendar and not the Gregorian Calendar used in the West.

Because of the differences in these calendars, the mother should add one year to her age at conception to begin with, and if she conceives after January 29 (the Chinese New Year) she should add another year. The New Year falls on January 29th on the Chinese Lunar Calendar instead of January 1st on the Gregorian Calendar in the West.

Using the parameters above find the mothers age and month of conception, intersect the columns and the resulting square if blue means a boy if pink means a girl.

By your seventh or eighth month you can of course (by having an ulta-sound) determine, with a fair degree of accuracy, if you will indeed be having a baby boy or girl, you can still have some fun with the Chinese Lunar Calendar.

Whether you feel it’s accurate or not the Chinese Lunar Calendar can be a lot of fun to experiment with, so enjoy!
